With recent Sigma Supply locations added to the Texas market, Sigma Supply’s Technical Services Division continues to make great strides in improving customer relations and communication while allowing for expansion in our service areas. The division is currently serving more than seven states with the technical services department continuing to hold true to their mission of delivering superior service to all of their customers. The division would also like to welcome and recognize our newest addition, Chris Swilling of Houston, Texas. We believe he will be a great asset while helping to grow the Texas market.
Sigma Supply’s factory-trained service technicians handle all aspects of field service including new installations, equipment repairs, and onsite training. At our new technical training center, many of the customer’s maintenance team members have benefited from our instructor-led courses while receiving one-on-one interaction and hands-on experimentation with various types of equipment. Sigma’s technicians provide system design, consultation, and custom preventative maintenance programs for our customers.
Since opening the doors in 2010 to their latest Hot Springs location at 301 Mid America Boulevard, technical services director Steve Messinger and his fully-staffed team have worked hard to transform outside contract work into a full in-house tool and machine repair facility. Since that time, it has helped with efficient response times while continuing to improve quality and accuracy with every job completed. Through its service and parts department, Sigma Supply is able to offer a wide variety of packaging equipment such as label applicators, case sealers and erectors, ink-jet printers, and stretch wrappers.
Since the building expansion, there has been closer and more direct communication between the purchasing and parts departments. Working together, the department has been able to improve all aspects related to stocking and inventory of parts as well as accuracy of order shipments from our warehouse.
By meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations, the technical service division’s long term goal is to continue providing superior service through each and every customer interaction.
