Sigma Supply of North America is proud to have sponsored the Tactical Methods to Recognize and Stop Human Trafficking program, a training event held April 12-13 in Hot Springs County for law enforcement officers and civilians on how to properly identify potential human trafficking situations, and how and when to intervene.
Presenting organization, Human Trafficking Training Center makes it a priority for their training events to teach law enforcement officers the needed skills not only to detect these difficult situations but to investigate them, interview without bias, report, and be proactive.
“Our largest sponsor for this event, Sigma Supply of North America has always been a major contributor of our safety programs.” Stated Jeff Crow, Director of Campus Safety and Emergency Management of Ouachita Baptist University, and one of the event’s key organizers. “With their support, we were able to provide this event at no cost to attendees, with meals included.” He said. “Scott Hamby [SSNA VP of Operations] is always fast to respond to sponsor requests, and always comes through when we need extra support.
